My name is Jean-Jacques Rojer and I’m a guitarist, composer and educator from the Caribbean island of Curaçao. I’ve been living in Amsterdam for the past 13 years and I have a music degree from the Royal Conservatory in The Hague, where I graduated cum laude in 2003.

I’ve had the privilege of playing at many prestigious venues and festivals, e.g. , the “Concert Gebouw” in Amsterdam and in New York, at Carnegie Hall and The Lincoln Center. I do session work in many styles and I also still give concerts as much as I can.

As a composer, I work for Theater and Film ( Commissions) and I also produce music for pop artists and singer-songwriters.

Next to playing and composing, I also dedicate myself to tutoring the wonders and mysteries of the guitar to students of all levels, styles and ages.
